What is my moon sign?
Your moon sign is where the Moon was when you were born. It moves through a sign in about two and a half days, so your birth date nearly always settles it, and your birth time settles the rest. Nothing you enter is saved.
The twelve moon signs, read for abundance
| Aries | You receive by acting, and it lands while you are already moving. |
| Taurus | You receive through touch, taste, comfort, the room you sit in. |
| Gemini | You receive through words, invitations, the next message. |
| Cancer | You receive by being cared for, and by letting that be enough. |
| Leo | You receive in the open, warmly, and it grows in the light of others. |
| Virgo | You receive by making things right, and it lands in the order you create. |
| Libra | You receive through balance, through what is given and returned. |
| Scorpio | You receive all at once, deeply, after a long quiet. |
| Sagittarius | You receive by travelling toward it, and it meets you more than halfway. |
| Capricorn | You receive over time, in layers, and it holds. |
| Aquarius | You receive through others, in groups, from the side. |
| Pisces | You receive by allowing, without needing to know the source. |
Questions
What is a moon sign?
The zodiac sign the Moon was in at the moment you were born. Where your Sun sign describes how you shine, your Moon describes what helps you feel held, and in Auriana’s reading, how you take in what arrives.
Do I need my birth time?
Usually not. The Moon stays in each sign for about two and a half days, so on most dates your sign is clear. If it changed signs on your birth day, the calculator names both and your birth time decides.
Is this the same as a horoscope?
No. It’s worked out from where the Moon actually was, and read as a reflection on how abundance reaches you, never as a prediction.
